Assoc. Prof., Director of our University's Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Application and Research Center, and also the President of the Health Board of the Turkish Physically Disabled Sports Federation. Prof. Saltan took an important step towards increasing the performance and products of disabled athletes internationally.
Prof. Saltan has determined the capacity of young people living in earthquake zones with the meticulous screening studies he has recently carried out, and by taking these athletes to Ghent, Belgium, one of the leading sports training centers in Europe, he has enabled them to improve themselves in the international arena.
The process of creating an Amputee Football Women's National Team within the Turkish Physically Disabled Sports Federation has been initiated. It increases the physical and mental adaptation and socialization of sports individuals. With this event, we invite all disabled young people, especially women, who want to do sports to Amputee Football.
