Recognized as one of the leading scientific events in the fields of adapted physical activity, rehabilitation, inclusion, and disability studies, EUCAPA 2026 brought together researchers, academics, practitioners, and policymakers from across the world to exchange knowledge and share innovative practices.
During the congress, Assoc. In addition, she actively contributed to an international workshop organized within the framework of the WELLDONE (Wheelchair Education for Learning and Development of New Opportunities in Europe) Erasmus+ project. The workshop focused on enhancing participation, independence, and inclusion through wheelchair skills education and interdisciplinary collaboration.
The congress also provided an opportunity to strengthen international partnerships, discuss future collaborative research initiatives, and disseminate the outcomes of the WELLDONE project among academics and professionals working in the field of rehabilitation and adapted physical activity.
As YUFIZYOM, we remain committed to promoting evidence-based rehabilitation practices, supporting inclusive education, and contributing to international scientific collaboration for the benefit of individuals with disabilities.
We congratulate our Director, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Asuman Saltan, on successfully representing Yalova University and YUFIZYOM at this prestigious international event and wish her continued success in her academic and professional endeavors
